The Booby Brigade Founders

Nancy has many friends that were not screened timely and effectively. 

 She makes this her mission to save others through her efforts with drawing the beautiful, comical Booby Brigade images that communicate the following: 

We can do this...We can win over this disease and help others win...let's join a 'Brigade of Boobies" to kick cancer.  Her Booby Brigade messages make a hard, sensitive conversation into one that brings confidence and humor to those going through treatment.  These messages also remind individuals to be screened instead of overlooking this major need.  

Sandra lost her best friend.  

She stood by this friend and saw firsthand the unfortunate circumstance of someone who dedicated their life to taking care of others to the point of overlooking her own health was in order.  

Through the time of her friend having chemo, Sandra contacted Nancy and hence was the start of the Booby Brigade. 

Sandra's initial passion really was the spark behind the journey of the Booby Brigade.

Nancy and Lynn will forever be thankful for Sandra taking this initiative to reach out, and say, "Let's do this"!

Lynn has a mother, aunt and cousins who have all had breast cancer.  All of these relatives have had timely screening and are all survivors.  

Lynn was also one of four moms that had weekly play groups while the children were small.  Three of the four moms have fought breast cancer and survived.  Two of the grandmothers of the group are diseased from not having timely screening and/or effective treatment.  

Lynn's passion to help others through the importance of spreading the word for screening and effective care, brought her to join 

the Booby Brigade. 

 She has made this her mission to design the group's future plan, assist with artwork, file trademarks and copyrights, and focus on growing exposure for this message so that all cancers can be overcome through the simple the message: get screened.
